Texas Snow and Ice Disaster Help- GOOD News!

The Goodness Project (TGP) partnered with many organizations to provide help during this Texas Snow and Ice Disaster of 2021.  A winter storm of epic proportions! Read reports on three of the organizations below.

Gateway Church Single mom’s disaster relief

The Goodness Project (TGP) partnered with Gateway Dallas to minister to single moms during the ice storm in Texas on February 17th.

Facebook Live I did with Pastor Rob from Gateway North Fort Worth, and Mark, a member of the church who was there to lend a helping hand

TGP provided Gateway with pasta, protein drinks, propel, water, tuna, chicken, chips and salsa, fruit and more!

Many families were without power for days. The Goodness Project was ready to respond to the needs of the families in Crisis.

121 Community Church

The Goodness Project Brought air mattresses, blankets, water and drinks to 121 Community Church on February 16th in the middle of the frigid temperatures and snow storm so that families could be housed at the church and have the resources they needed during this time.

Individuals Rally Around Their Community

After the power was restored, a friend reached out saying she and several from her community knew of some families facing crisis after the Texas power outage/ice storm.

They asked if the Goodness Project could help with clothing, diapers, wipes, and other necessities. What’s inspiring about this story is they pulled other resources together, started a private Facebook page to rally support from the community, and took action to help their neighbors.

What a beautiful display of God’s kindness and goodness during challenging times!

We want to thank you for partnering with us to provide help and hope to families in crisis!
