During Christmastime, many families have the opportunity to gather together to celebrate the holidays. These reunions can be times of great joy and getting reconnected.
Freedom Shield Foundation
A pivotal characteristic of The Goodness Project is its connectedness with other organizations doing vital, life-saving work – all year round! One of our long-term partners is a tremendous, impactful organization called Freedom Shield Foundation.
Freedom Shield Foundation works in different continents rescuing victims of human trafficking and religious minority persecution. Here in the U.S., they are actively working to save men, women, and children from trafficking, many of whom are “recruited” after they have run away from home.
As you might expect, many runaways come from particularly needy areas, where food, shelter, and clothing may be in short supply. Thus one of the ways to reduce human trafficking is to support these communities with food and supplies.
Earlier this month, The Goodness Project partnered with Freedom Shield Foundation to provide necessary supplies to hurting communities. We gathered at Jacques Middle School on Stalcup Road in Ft. Worth and provided families with water, paper towels, toys, bleach, and other essential items.

Freedom Shield Foundation (FSF) is a U.S. non-profit organization countering human trafficking and religious minority persecution by targeting transnational criminal organizations, international insurgency groups, and terrorist organizations involved in child sex trafficking, recruitment, and indoctrination of child soldiers, and trafficking of children for organ harvesting. We also provide restorative care for the captives we free through our national and international safe house program.
