October 2025 - The Goodness Report

God is opening doors very quickly in the kingdom right now, and we are definitely seeing that in The Goodness Project. There is an urgency and an escalation in the movement of God’s people worldwide. For us, doors are opening, and we are meeting the right people to minister to families and children with urgent needs. As you read our regional updates below, please be in prayer about how you can get involved!

The Goodness Project’s Ability Hub is stepping up to meet an urgent need in Jackson, Mississippi. We feel called by God to meet this need.

To help as many at-risk children in the city as possible, we have connected with the Mayor of Jackson. These are children currently living in hotels, waiting to be fostered or adopted—many of whom require far more care, support, and security than their current circumstances allow.

This is a significant undertaking that will provide:

  • Trauma-informed caregiver support
  • 24/7 security
  • Nutritious meals
  • Therapeutic and behavioral support
  • Chapel services and Bible study programs to nurture spiritual growth and hope

To respond quickly, we are preparing on-site condos for both children and caregivers. Our most urgent need right now is funding for the beds, furniture, and cookware required to make these spaces livable. These essentials will help create warm, welcoming homes where children can feel safe and begin to heal.

Through our resource centers, The Goodness Project has access to other incredible donations such as small appliances, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, clothing, and nonperishable food. But to make these condos fully functional, we need your help to provide the core furnishings that every child deserves.

🌟 Please partner with us today to ensure these children have a place they can truly call home. Your support will bring stability, safety, and hope during a critical time in their lives.

The Goodness Project is moving forward with its second Ability Hub project to provide a much-needed day program for the elderly, addressing an urgent gap in the Jackson, MS area.

The next phase will focus on programs for young adults with special needs, offering a wide range of services tailored to their abilities—from workforce development and skill-building programs to therapeutic support. This Special Needs Ability Hub will serve individuals across the spectrum, from those who are high-functioning to those requiring more intensive care.

As we prepare to launch these life-changing programs, our biggest immediate need is to purchase cookware for our commercial kitchen, where we will be hiring a chef to meet the nutritional needs of both the elderly and the children who will live on our campus as part of the foster care program.

In addition, we need:

  • Furniture items for designated areas in the elderly day program
  • Funds for several hospital beds to ensure proper care and comfort for those with greater medical needs

Our goal is to create a space where the elderly and young adults with special needs can thrive—receiving care, building skills, and finding meaningful community.

On Saturday, November 22, we are putting on a Thanksgiving Outreach for families in Jackson to bring hope, joy, and a full Thanksgiving meal to families in one of the most underserved communities in America.

Together, we’ll serve over 2,000 people, offering:

🍗 A full Thanksgiving meal to take home
🎪 Fun carnival-style activities for kids under the big tent
💛 Engaging experiences for the whole family
🙌 A special Thanksgiving session filled with encouragement and hope

We will be praying with each family that comes. At the Goodness Project, sharing the Gospel has been the reason we do what we do!

This event is completely FREE for families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal this year.

Harvest Under the Big Top

We’re excited to share an update on our Dominican Republic expansion! This month, The Goodness Project is securing new warehouse space just outside the city of Santo Domingo, which will allow us to begin regular outreach to families in crisis.

With this space, we can efficiently send life-changing essentials—such as medications, vitamins, medical equipment, school supplies, clothing, shoes, and hygiene products—to communities that need them most. Many of these areas are rural and remote, some accessible only by mule, and we are committed to bringing hope right to their doorsteps.

We are honored to continue this journey—standing alongside these incredible communities, united by compassion and driven by love.

🌟 Your support makes this possible. If God puts it on your heart to help with this mission, we would be so grateful. Together we can carry hope—even to the ends of the earth.

In August, we partnered with Braeside Camp for another incredible year of blessing single moms and their families. Author and speaker Sherry Stahl led this amazing event alongside Andrea Giancola, who ensured the moms had a peaceful and restorative experience at the camp.

This year, the moms received gift cards from our Resource Center in Brantford, Ontario, so they can meet the needs of their children. They also enjoyed free groceries, uplifting worship, and powerful teaching from Sherry Stahl. Braeside generously provided childcare so moms could fully engage in the event.

The stories of deliverance, freedom, and hope were amazing from this event! Thank you for partnering with us to make these moments possible!

Every location we serve is a doorway of God’s love, mercy, and kindness in action. Thank you for helping us demonstrate that God is good, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
