We have been in prayer since hearing the news about Israel, but wanted to wait to communicate with you until we knew what was going on with the families and communities we’ve been helping since 2019– thanks to you!
After talking with our staff in Israel, those in the Eshkol community, near Gaza, have suffered greatly!
Over a hundred people, including infants, children, women, the elderly, disabled, and even a Holocaust survivor were brutally dragged from their beds and homes into captivity in the Gaza Strip. To be used as human shields and bargaining chips. Some estimates place this number at over 200.
Sadly, many of the women and children lost their lives and homes have been destroyed by fires.

Countless friends and family members have been called up for reserve army duty. The army has mobilized 300,000 reserve troops in less than 48 hours, the fastest they have ever mobilized that many troops. They await what looks like a long battle ahead, possibly on multiple fronts. More Jewish people were murdered in a single day (Saturday, October 7th, 2023) than have been on any single day since the Holocaust
Our friend Michal Uziyahu has been an advocate in the Eshkol region. She states that they are resilient people who will continue to let their light shine. Their resilience amazes us yet they continue to suffer. They need our help!
Unfortunately, there are innocent people on both sides being harmed in this war.
Please pray with us that whatever is hidden will be brought into the light. The people are always the ones who suffer in times of war.
May God rescue all who are being harmed in any way at the hands of those who are wanting personal gain from this war.
Please continue to pray with us for the people of Israel and peace for all humanity.
The Goodness Project has had several ministries reach out to us for needed supplies due to all that’s going on in Israel. Our team will be distributing needed resources to several different communities.
