This past month, the staff at The Goodness Project (TGP) Nashville have been running full-tilt with events held in conjunction with or supporting so many good organizations doing their best to support the greater Nashville community.
Partnership Events
TPG assisted The Belonging Co. (TBCO) church in an endeavor to provide the most basic needs to women in need. Each month their outreach into the community helps so many and were able to help more with boxes of feminine products acquired from TGP.
The People Loving Nashville organization distributed 60 boxes of adult diapers to people in need through their efforts that were sourced through The Goodness Project Nashville. People Loving Nashville knows that every night in Nashville there are hundreds who would consider themselves in some form of being unhoused. Aware of the many traumatic experiences that lead people into this season of life, they are committed to treating everyone with dignity and honor, nurturing growth in body, mind, and soul. Their outreaches are built on four pillars of: Relief, Community, Connection, & Development.
They believe strong relationships within the community is vital and link arms with trusted volunteers, churches, & partners organization like TGP so they can provide for immediate needs and long-term solutions.
The Goodness Project Nashville often works with police departments in Nashville and the area to help distribute items through various organizations and events. This month, TGP blessed the police station by donating a Sony PlayStation.
There were so many more great organizations TGP partnered with and we’ll be able to share more next month, but a real highlight was one of our smallest donations… in dollar value. It was a tent to help house a person who recently found themself homeless.
We live in a hurting world, ravaged by the effects of a pandemic and lockdowns. Make sure you’re doing your part to spread the goodness of God into your area of the world!
