One Generation Away is a non-profit ministry who helps the hungry with their mobile pantry outreaches. Their mission to wipe hunger off the face of America is completely in line with the mission of The Goodness Project (TGP). OneGenAway distributes healthy foods to families throughout Middle Tennessee that currently do not have access to food sources due to economic and physical barriers.
Powerful Partnerships
The Goodness Project partnered with OneGenAway and a couple of other organizations to put on a large food drive at Plaza Mariachi, a local shopping center in the heart of Nashville’s Hispanic community. The openness of Plaza Mariachi to partner in this endeavor played an important role to the success of the event. The Hispanic Family Foundation was an integral part of the event and again, there were police officers there from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) volunteering. This was a beautiful example of unity, in a time when conflict is what you hear most in the news.

371 Families… Totaling 1938 People Served!
TGP donated a truckload of hundreds of Muscle Milk and baby food to which was able to serve 371 families, totaling 1938 people in need! Now that’s worth shouting about!
