Our First container in 2023 has shipped to Israel
The Goodness Project has secured a partnership with the Joseph Project in Israel to bring 12 full containers to bless the land in 2023.
Our first container filled with Hicappop Baby items including bed bumpers, crib rails, booster seats, toddler beds, play-pods, nursery organizers and diaper carriers, pregnancy pillow wedges and more shipped out on Monday, March 13th. This first load had a retail value of $24,000.
We are partnering with other pregnancy centers, churches, and organizations in Israel to provide
for families who need these resources the most.
In April, we have a trip planned to set up our new offices at the Joseph Project and hand out the
baby items directly to the organizations and families. We can’t wait to share more about this
exciting project in the coming weeks!
How you can help
Much goes into organizing and sourcing resources into the land of Israel. First, our Hicapop
donor ships the items to our warehouse. Then, we receive the goods, sort and organized them, and repalletize them. It took over 12 weeks for the sorting of these goods.
Then, we organize the shipment of the goods to Israel. This takes a lot of coordination and
paperwork. (and a whole lot of emails back and forth to ensure we have everything that’s
needed).
The cost to ship this container was $6300. Because we are partnering with the Joseph Project,
we are sharing the cost of shipping 50/50. The first load has been covered, but we need your
help to get the next load to Israel. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by April 10th, which will cover the
cost of shipping, warehouse storage, the cost of labor, and office equipment for our offices
in Israel.
